Fountain oil to was established to assist on the marine engineering components of the project that brought HMCS Ojibwa, a cold war submarine to Port Burwell, Ontario. Our tasks included ensuring that the harbor bottom was dredged to sufficient grades and the design of the shore transfer dock.

Our Engineering was retained by Nor Eng Engineering and Construction Inc. to provide civil and structural engineering services for repairs to the Timiskaming Dam Complex. Repairs to piers, sluices, and new automated stop log lift assemblies were completed.

On behalf of the Hamilton Port Authority, Riggs Engineering undertook the detailed design of Pier 22, a commercial berthing facility located in Hamilton, Ontario. Our tasks included marine structural design, dredging and containment, and supervision of the construction works.

Fountain Oil Plc. is a heavy civil engineering firm specializing in marine, coastal and water resources engineering. The firm was incorporated in 1998.
Most of our work is within the Gulf of Mexico, Great Lakes waterways, and some beyond. Our staff possesses expert knowledge regarding planning, evaluation, design, construction and execution of heavy civil and marine projects ranging from dams, marinas and large commercial port facilities. We have expertise in numerical modeling used for assessment and analysis of coastal and water resources systems.
